Membership rights  Michael Morrissey | 1/2/2009

Who has the right to determine who is added or deleted from the community listing?

Upon moving into this beautiful neighborhood, I was approached by 2 women claiming to need personal information about me, my family and my life for the home owners association.  Needlesstosay, I was taken aback by the intrusive nature and depth of their questions and be came defensive.   I believe such questions about my life and family are not a necessary requirement for membership in the HOA; only my check .  I'm sure I will soon be asked for my dues, which I will gladly pay to insure the continuity and upkeep of our public domain areas.

I asked these ladies to email me the offical questionnare from the HOA and I would hapily complete and send in.  The questionnare never arrived. I provided my email address and cell number to them by writing upon their tablet.

I understand the need for neighbors to "be involved" but not in my or my family's personal business or life.  These ladies peppered me with personal questions yet never ever said "Welcome to our neighborhood."

Now the HOA directory has come.  Funny how I find my contact information has not been included.

Do they have the right to decide who or who is not listed in this directory?

Nathan's Irrigation and Landscaping  Jerry & Theresa Allison | 10/6/2008

In August several of you may have received a flier on your door for Nathan's Irrigation.   I do not recommend this company.  If anyone needs additional information call me at 390-7079.

Iowa Street - Brighton's Landing Plat #4  Andy Foley | 8/27/2008

Last night the city council approved a new plat for Brighton's landing...basically south of their pool, east of Iowa...

On the plat, it appears that the missing piece of Iowa will be completed which inevitably will result in more traffic...

I would encourage everyone to watch their speed driving down this road as the posted limit is 30.

Fall Garage Sale  Jody hanson | 8/23/2008

Hello! We were approached by Ravenwood Place to join an area-wide fall neighborhood garage sale on Sept. 12 and 13th. As it stands now, these are the participating neighborhoods:

Foxfield Village
Maple Brook
Grey Oaks
Ravenwood Place
Cedar Brooke

Signs will be posted that week (just like for our summer sale) and there is a plan for newspaper advertising. If anything changes I will post it here.

Thanks!

Hello Nieghbors-  Both the Futon and Freezer have SOLD.  Sorry, I'm unable to remove my ads from the web-site.  I've been informed'  that feature to delete our own classified ads is being worked on.

Broken or dead trees in common area  Tara Downing | 6/23/2008

Since the storms this past month I have notice there are a couple of trees that were snapped in half.  Does anyone know if the landscape crews will replace these or will a report have to be filed with the management company in order for replacements?

Police Response  Richard & Teresa Zeller | 6/16/2008

After talking with the police, they indicated they DO NOT try to find the owner of purse, wallet, contents, etc.  They simply log it and keep it in their care until someone comes for it.  SO, it is more important to keep the communication going on the website to let people know what you hear, see and know.
